La Cidrerie Barn Restaurant

Open between April - September
Thursday, Friday and Saturday Evenings
La Cidrerie Barn Restaurant welcomes you to enjoy French, rustic, country cooking on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from April to September. We offer a relaxed, unique dining experience brought to you by the owners, Richard and Sarah Matlock. Richard and his assistant chefs work hard to bring the best "cuisine au feu de bois" experience possible. Asparagus, Jersey Oysters, local hand-dived scallops, delicious salads, red prawns, terrines and foie gras all appear as starters over the seasons. We only source local vegetables, ensuring we have the freshest seasonal produce with which to prepare all our dishes.

Richard changes the menu regularly to keep your La Cidrerie experience unique every time you return! We hope to see you soon for a special, local, Jersey experience at
La Cidrerie Barn Restaurant.

The majority of the fish and shellfish we get have been sustainably caught by Jersey fishermen in local waters. Meat is sourced from small producers (known to us personally in most cases) so we can ensure that it has been sustainably and ethically reared with the highest standard of care.

Our Côte de Bœuf is supplied by a small Scottish butcher who works with family-run farms to bring the highest quality, grass-fed beef directly to us. When received, we place it in our dry ageing cabinets for a minimum of 40 days. Over the years it has become our most popular dish and it's something you don't want to miss!
To conclude the evening, you will be offered a superb selection of cheeses and a variety of desserts, made in-house, with an optional accompaniment of dessert wines.
